We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

After moving, I invested in some new kitchenware items from Year & Day, and the quality has been outstanding. I received the Big Bowls, Tall Glasses, Nested Mixing Bowl Set, Utensil Crock, Sisal Placements, and Steak Knives. The bowls are sturdy, the glasses are perfect for a morning cup of iced coffee, and the crock is roomy. I've used the placemats when hosting people for dinner, along with the steak knives, and both were complimented. Everything feels elevated — something I really wanted to achieve now that I'm in my 30s and fully adulting. No more flimsy, mismatched tableware. I'm newly in a relationship, which means I now have two closets at my disposal. I picked up my boyfriend's joggers one day for a coffee run, and let’s just say, they’re mine now (sorry @ him). I’m not usually a sweatpants person because they’re always too plush that they make me hot. But these are made of soft jersey fabric that temperature regulates. Yes, they’re technically men’s, but I like that they’re not too fitted without being overly baggy. They’re the Goldilocks of joggers. –Martha Upton ($98, Lululemon)

These Levi's Wedgie Straights are the perfect straight-leg jeans that aren't too baggy. I love that they get even softer with time, and in classic Levi's fashion, they tend to mold to your body the more you wear them. The 26-inch inseam is ideal for my five-foot frame, and I continue to pick these over my more expensive pairs. They're just under $100, but I find that they always tend to be on sale. –Margo Ghertner ($98, Levi’s)

These Glow Recipe Dew Drops impart the prettiest, lit-from-within flush with a dewy (but not sparkly) finish. Since they contain good-for-skin ingredients like niacinamide, they also double as skincare. This stuff is very pigmented so a little goes a long way, but it blends beautifully. –Caroline Goldstein ($25, Glow Recipe)

I've always been a fan of Billie, but their shaving cream might have just made me a lifelong loyalist. A little goes a long way — giving me a soft, thick coat of fluffy goodness that makes shaving a breeze. One glide of my razor, and poof — hair’s gone and skin’s smooth. And razor bumps? Nowhere in sight. –Sarai Thompson ($8, Billie)

I've already gushed about this bedside carafe but I'll do so again because this carafe is it. It's made of weighty, looks-more-expensive-than-it-is colored glass that would zhuzh up any space, thanks to its vintage-inspired shape and design. Both the carafe and matching cup are easy to clean (by hand) and won't take up too much space on your nightstand or counter. Bonus: It's under $20. –Alessandra Rey ($26.99, Amazon)

I wanted to switch up my bedding because my old sheets were worn out, and I wanted to make my bedroom a little more sunny as spring approaches. I like to sleep on the crispiest, crunchiest sheets imaginable, so I started at Brooklinen, since their percale ones fit the bill. When I saw the new windowpane print in Meadow, I knew my search was over. This is the loveliest green hue, and the pattern is a nice little pop underneath a solid quilt or comforter. My bed now looks as inviting as the grass in the park where I’ll be spending my time when it finally warms up. –Abby Drozd ($135.15, Brooklinen)
