Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

Finisterre

Women's Yarrel Canvas Trouser

Our new favorite in-between season pants...

Recently I received some clothes from one of my favorite brands, Finisterre. I got the Yarrel Canvas Trouser in the Burnt Umber color, and the Eldon Long-Sleeve in the Burnt Heather/Ecru/Dark Ocean option. I adore both. I've worn the pieces together and separately countless times — they've become my hyperfixation clothes in the last few weeks. The trousers are just baggy enough; they're comfortable and don't hug me in a way that makes me feel body-conscious. I love the color detailing on the long-sleeve shirt; the collar being a different color adds just enough intrigue and contrast. The brand is perfect for this in-between weather. Plus, it has so many outdoorsy options, clothing for rainy weather, and layerable options. —Alexandra Napoli

sandals

Vagabond

Evie Heeled Sandals

A comfy pair of wear-everywhere sandals...

Like everyone else I know, I’m on the hunt for the perfect spring sandal. Flip-flops are still trending this year, but personally, I like something with a little more substance. So when I saw the brand that makes my favorite pair of loafers released a new sandal, I jumped on it. These are flip-flop-esque with the thong style, but I like that they have a square toe and a comfortable block heel. I’ve been wearing the ecru color with white pants, and I feel incredibly chic. —Martha Upton

Air Dry Styler

An air-dry cream that changed the game for us...

April was an incredible month of discovery for me because I think I just found my all-time favorite air-dry product. Odele's Air Dry Styler hydrates my hair, cuts back on frizz, and gives my natural waves the perfect amount of shine and definition. Upon first use, I was floored by the results (especially because this product smells luxe and is under $12). I apply a dime-sized amount to my wet hair, from midlength to ends, then I let the product do the rest. My waves end up being soft and hydrated without any crunch. I'd buy the $5 travel version to try before you commit to the full size. —Margo Ghertner

Armani Beauty

Luminous Silk Acqua Highlighter

A highlighter that looks more natural than most...

I did a lot of damage at the Sephora sale and came away with a handful of new all-timers — but I’m especially excited about this highlighter. The fluid texture has more in common with a lotion than traditional makeup, so it blends seamlessly into your skin. It gives your complexion a dewy, wet-look glow, rather than obvious chunks of glitter, that I find equally wearable for daytime as special events. In fact, I’ve been blending it across my nose and cheekbones on no-makeup days just to make my complexion look a little healthier. Also, I'm proud to report that I sold Margo on it, and she loves it so much, she's planning to wear it on her wedding day. —Caroline Goldstein

setting-spray

Juvia's Place

Ready, Set, Sealed! Setting Spray

The setting sprays that get us through spring...

It’s that weird, in-between season where the weather is doing the absolute most — cold and windy one day, humid the next — and my makeup definitely notices. My tip: I don’t rely on just one setting spray. On colder, windy days, I’ll use the Juvia’s Place one because it keeps everything in place while adding some hydration. But when it’s humid, I switch to the One/Size spray because it's a heavier-duty option that keeps my makeup from sliding around. —Sarai Thompson

vanilla

Poca

Vanilla

A sugar-free coffee flavoring we can't resist...

I'm typically very straightforward when it comes to making my iced coffee at home: two espresso shots, oat milk, and exactly one Splenda packet. Sometimes, I like to switch it up with flavored syrup, but I'm always nervous about the added sugar. Then, I tried Poca. Their single-serve packets of vanilla syrup have 0 grams of cane sugar and a daily fiber boost. There's no aftertaste and they're perfectly sweet. I'm excited to try the caramel flavor next. —Alessandra Rey

bag

Kelly & Katie

Fish Shoulder Bag

A beaded bag that tickles our fancy...

I'm pleased to announce that I have officially joined the Beaded Bag Train, and I've never been happier. This colorful shoulder bag is roomier than it looks, which makes it great to take from day to night. I love that it zhuzhes up even the most casual outfit. I'm always getting compliments on it. —Alessandra Rey
