A skin mist that actually makes a difference...
After a few hours at the office, my skin always begins to feel dry and tight, due to the building AC. Because of this, I was looking for a spray that would be gentle and hydrating. I got a sample of this mist from COSRX and immediately fell in love. The mist is super fine, so I don't feel like I'm drenching myself midday. Instead, it feels very soothing, like a quick glass of water that reverses any itchiness. My makeup feels refreshed and any dry patches are immediately treated. Remember how last month I said I wasn’t buying into the flip-flop trend? Well, it finally wore me down. The coolest girls on my feed are specifically wearing Havaianas — so it's unsurprising that most of the styles from their collab of the century with Isabel Marant are mostly sold out, save for a stray pair here. A few equally good (and more affordable) pairs I'm eyeing: the square-toe version I first saw on my boyfriend’s Gen Z sister, a classic black pair, and a jelly pair that’s just plain fun. —Martha Upton
A hand serum we didn't know we needed...
Because I wash my hands nonstop, I have pretty dry, cracked hands. This serum from Paume came across my desk when I was working on this story, and I've been reaching for it ever since. Because it's a serum, it's lightweight and nongreasy. And on top of it being packed with hyaluronic acid, bakuchiol, and vitamin C, it has notes of cedar that make it a full aromatherapy experience. I’ve never been much of a dress person, so I’ve curated quite the collection of breezy separates for summer. My favorite outfit formula on those hellishly hot days: a midi slip skirt + cropped tank + flip-flops (thank god they’re chic again). This linen midi skirt is my new favorite addition to the lineup. A wear-everywhere summer set...
I've been itching to update my summer wardrobe and came across Petal & Pup during a random inbox scrub. I hadn't really heard about them, so I took a chance to try one of their embroidered sets. Wow, am I so glad I did. This set is not only top heavy-friendly, it's also incredibly breezy and hugs me in all the right places (without making me feel restricted). As someone who loves to wear black year-round, I can't stop reaching for this two-piece for date nights, weekend brunches, and more.
