Why I Tested...

How I Tested...
I packed these Knix swimsuits for two separate beach vacations and took notes on their comfort, support, and style.

Test Results...
Comfort: When I first opened these swimsuits I noticed the material was on the thicker side and didn’t have much give, so I was skeptical about how comfortable they’d be. After putting them on, though, I’d give them a solid 8 out of 10 on the comfort scale. The straps were easy to adjust (I have an uneven chest so this was a huge plus) and didn’t dig into my shoulders. I also liked that the pads were removable. Neither suit rode up or gave me those pesky wedgies — and I wore them each for up to eight hours at a time.
Fabric: While it’s not the most flexible, Knix’s Sculpt fabric does its job. In the seersucker suit, my tummy felt smoothed and covered without feeling overly constricting. I also appreciated the full-coverage rear in both designs. I’m giving this line bonus points for the material’s UPF 50+ sun protection, which made me feel protected on boat days when the sunscreen might not be readily available at a moment’s notice.
Leakproof technology. Select designs, including the Classic One-Piece, can be worn without a pad or tampon as they can absorb up to three tampons’ worth of liquid. Since I have a heavier period, I only relied on this on the last few days of my period when I experienced spotting. True to form, there were zero spots visible from the outside of my suit (a win).

Sidenotes...
These suits are machine-washable, but not dryer-friendly. Be sure to lay them flat to dry.
The color selection is a little limited. I loved the red and seersucker patterns, and currently have my eye on their lovely limited-edition orchid color. However, I wish they had more bright colors or fun patterns to choose from.
