I love Anthropologie’s signature tile design on things like mugs and trinket trays, so I knew the tea kettle design would fit well in my home. As a shameless Francophile, the cute \"bonjour\" message across the base is an added bonus for me. It takes about 3.5 minutes to heat up 1 liter of water (its total capacity is 1.7 liters, or seven cups). There’s one on/off switch that automatically shuts off once the water is boiling and ready to serve. It also has a temperature gauge and a capacity marker that are both easy to read. At $128, the kettle is a little pricey compared to others. But I would argue that if you’re an avid tea drinker, this kettle’s quality materials (24-karat gold-decaled stainless steel), quick-heating base, and gorgeous look make it worth the splurge.
