Jordan Galloway
Editor

Jordan Galloway is an editor at theSkimm, where she helps shape Skimm Well+Good, editing and developing stories about health, wellness, and the everyday questions that come with navigating everyday health decisions. Her work focuses on translating research into journalism that's clear, balanced, and genuinely useful.

Jordan has worked as a journalist since 2009 and has specialized in health and wellness since 2017. Before joining theSkimm, she was a senior editor at Well+Good, where she edited and reported on fitness, nutrition, mental health, and women's health. She later served as Fitness Director at Women's Health, leading fitness coverage across the brand and helping readers understand the science behind movement, exercise, and healthy aging. Her work has also appeared in GQ and SELF.

In addition to her editorial experience, Jordan is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, a certified Pilates instructor, and a former Nike trainer. Those experiences have given her firsthand insight into how people build healthy habits, navigate conflicting health advice, and put evidence-based recommendations into practice.

Jordan is also pursuing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University. Her clinical training has deepened her interest in the connection between physical health, mental health, relationships, and behavior change, and it continues to inform how she approaches stories across those topics.

Health advice changes fast. New studies make headlines every day. Wellness trends spread even faster. Jordan's goal is to help readers understand what the evidence actually says — and what it means for their everyday lives.

Jordan is based in Katonah, New York. You can find her work each week in Skimm Well+Good, where she edits and develops coverage that helps readers feel informed — not overwhelmed — about their health.
